於我，何為信？What is Faith to me?

曾如此反思反問自己嗎？

面對長期失業，多次面試都不果；面對疫情數年不退，環境日差，天國窄路更窄了。我還信嗎？

終於有天，內心暗暗自暴自棄，認為自己一事無成。只有頭腦認為有出路，我曾以為那已是不信。

但跳出來反思自己，其實那「信」不是真信心，只是「內心相信自己可以OK」。對於耶穌的信，我心中歸根究底是：

即使自己無能為力，無論客觀環境如何差，都相信「耶穌基督可以」

正是如此！正是看到「自己不可信」，才會明白「唯有神可信」，因為人會死會失去會變，唯有神有大能永遠不變。正如唯有謙卑承認自己做不到，才會虛 心請求他人幫助。

道理簡單，不代表容易（承認自己軟弱）。

不能誤用「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能」（馬可福音9章23節），因為信主，不代表在世萬能亨通發達，只是知道死後安好去處。

我信，即使環境再差我再無力，主裏有恩典有出路。

Have you ever ask yourself this question?

In a situation of long-term unemployment, many interviews have been unsuccessful; also the epidemic that has not receded for several years, the social environment is getting worse, and the narrow road to heaven has become even narrower. Do I still believe in Jesus?

Finally, one day, I secretly gave up on myself, thinking that I could not achieve anything. Only my head thought there was a way out, and I thought that was already unbelief in Jesus.

But when I looked at myself, I realized that “faith” was not true faith, it was just “believing in my heart that I could do it”. My faith in Jesus comes down to this：

I believe that “Jesus Christ can” even though I am powerless, no matter how bad the objective circumstances are.

That’s exactly what it is! It is by seeing that “you cannot trust yourself” that you understand that “only God can be trusted” because people will die and lose and change, but God is powerful and unchanging. It is only by humbly admitting that we cannot do it then we will humbly ask for help.

Just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s easy (admitting your weakness).

Do not misunderstand “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23), because believing in the Lord does not mean that you will be prosperous, wealthy and always happy in this world, but that you will know where you will go after death.

I believe that even if my circumstances are bad and I am powerless, there is grace in the Lord and a way out in Him.
